Counseling sessions at J.J.

We have successfully completed a couple of counseling sessions at the J.J. Hospital for the traumatized victims. We had a session this tuesday, Dec 23 and Dr. Patil did a great job in releiving the anxiety of the victims.

The sessions are available in the morning from 9.30 am - 11.00 am, on weekdays and saturday. The sessions are available to all the traumatized victims of 26/11 free of charge.

Updates, updates, updates !

Hi Everyone,

We have had a great upstart and we have also gathered some momentum. Let me update you with the recent happenings at Mumbai Rebounds.

1) We have succesfully arranged for the counseling sessions at the J.J. Group of Hospitals. Now we are reaching out to people who need counseling, and we will be directing them to the sessions at the J.J. Hospital in Byculla.
2) Our team size has increased to 12 and we have new enthusiastic volunteers joining us.
3) We have organized ourselves for the various initiatives we would undertake as an organization.
4) We have chalked out our Short-term and Long-term plans and we will be soon registering ourselves as a society.

Counseling Sessions

Hi everyone,

We have sent the following letter to the J.J. Hospital requesting them to help us arrange for the counseling sessions. Next, we intend to have a fund-raising drive to help the economically weak families who have lost their sole breadwinner and have no support system.

Respected Sir,
The youth of South Mumbai have initiated a movement called as 'Mumbai Rebounds', which aims to help the victims of the recent attacks in Mumbai. Our volunteers intend to raise funds for the victims and arrange counseling sessions for the traumatized people who are in a state of shock or are in the grief of losing a loved one.
We sincerely request you, to help us arrange counseling sessions at the J.J. Group of hospitals as a part of community activity, and we request the fellow doctors, counselors and psychiatrists to spare some slots for the same and help the traumatized victims, who cannot afford professional counseling to overcome their hard experiences.
